part one

Hello! I see you've stumbled upon The Everglade and you want to get active! Well, here's a step by step guide.

1 - Create your First Account

Just sign up, with a name and an email, make sure to pass the verifying stage [ its just rotating a random colour ] upon completion please allow time for an admin to activate your account. Upon activation your good to get started!

I look forward to you all joining! If you have any suggestions feel free to share them within the appropriate category/section.

2 - Read through the Encyclopedia.
You don't have to read through everything as its not that much. But be sure to visit it regularly as you will find we get regular updates.
Guidebook - Lists how the site works
Rules - Lists site rules
Species - Lists the species available on-site
Glades - Glades are our currency. You can use them to purchase goods in the Pack Shop.

3 - Create your Second Account.
You will need to log out of your first account, in order to create a second account. The process is a bit tedious as you cannot use the same email twice [I can sort that out manually using the administration panel, you will just need to let me know which account/name you are wanting to activate as a second account] Same process as with name, email and passing the verification. Again, wait for an admin to activate your account and boom account number 2!

Linking Accounts:

As stated above, within forumotion linking accounts is not available and has yet to be implemented so follow the above stage to create multiple ones. If you cannot get a hold of a staff member on the website, join the discord and we will reply asap!

4 - Post your character's biography and wait to be accepted.
Copy the code in the bio form and post it on a new thread, fill it out, and wait. Shouldn't take longer than 24 hours, but give us a grace period of 3 days. Once you're accepted, GO! You are now a member!

NOTES:
- As a new member, and with the Everglade being within its vanilla stage you may create three characters to start with. You can increase this by buying slots. Please note that if creating any other characters, activity must be sustained throughout all of them. If they fall inactive they will be archived.

- You may or may not start with a small companion. A bird, a rodent, ect. Nothing ridiculous [You will find this helps lengthen your roleplay posts and makes it that slight bit more interesting.]
